The Maple Leafs continue to shop defenseman Tomas Kaberle. The Blues, Canucks and Sabres are among the teams still interested in Kaberle, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Sharks are believed to be trying to shake up their roster heading into the 2009-10 season. San Jose has been actively trying to shop forwards Jonathan Cheechoo and Patrick Marleau, according to reports. The Ottawa Sun has reported that the Sharks have offered Cheechoo and defenseman Christian Erhoff to Ottawa for winger Dany Heatley, but the Senators have rejected the deal.

The Panthers still lead the race for Alex Tanguay, but the Islanders are currently making a strong push. Despite the late charge by the Isles, HockeyBuzz.com reports that the Florida could seal the deal very soon.

Dany Heatley hasn't changed his mind about wanting a trade, but the Senators appear willing to wait. Heatley has a no-movement clause that will allow him to pick and choose where Ottawa will be able to send him. It is believed that nothing will happen until Senators general manager Bryan Murray presents the Heatley camp with at least two more potential destinations in addition to Edmonton.

TSN reported early Wednesday morning that Dany Heatley refused to waive his no-trade clause in order to facilitate a trade to the Oilers. Multiple outlets reported Tuesday night that the Senators had agreed to send Heatley to Edmonton for Andrew Cogliano, Dustin Penner and Ladislav Smid.
